About
This site offers simplified information about chemotherapy and its use to treat cancer. It must not be used as a primary source of information; therefore, links to respected authority sites are listed. They often tend to use medical terminology, which is the motivation to offer a simpler “translation” that might be easier to use when explaining chemo to a child.
Sometimes the inspiration to build such a site comes from a parent whose child has cancer; however, these sites disappear or remain unattended and contain broken links or outdated information. Fortunately, this site was not inspired by a family connection with a cancer patient but an article in a magazine where a parent lamented the lack of simple information about chemotherapy.
Always see your doctor or cancer specialist for proper diagnosis and treatment. Therefore, this site does not attempt to offer any recommendations or advice.
